Satellit ERbeLEBEN

From September 26 to 28, 2024, the workshop series Satellit_ERbeLEBEN took place on and around Anton-Saefkow-Platz in Lichtenberg, engaging young people and children in creative exploration. Together with artists and architects, participants developed artistic actions and interventions that explored the city and the Fennpfuhl neighborhood.

The workshops aimed to rediscover urban space in a creative way, understand it as a place of learning, and transform it into a platform for artistic expression. Acting as a “city school,” Satellit_ERbeLEBEN encouraged young residents to reflect on their environment and develop a deeper awareness of their needs.

Artistic works emerged from three workshops and were immediately exhibited in the public space at Anton-Saefkow-Platz, fostering direct dialogue with local residents. As a result, the square became an agora for intergenerational discussions on urban development.
